Our Product Line Specialist:Fall Protection/Confined Space offers for end users a "live" informative program demonstrating personal fall arrest systems/confined space rescue equipment as it pertains to the ANSI and OSHA standards, utilizing the Capital Safety demonstration unit. On-site overviews of fall protection hazards and equipment recommendation are offered, and distributors and end users are educated on the proper use and training on our entire Fall Protection Group.

Richard joined United Sales Associates as a Product Line Specialist December 7, 2006. He has 29 years of experience in safety related work in private and public sectors. Richard attended Murray State University of Murray, KY and received in 1976 a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education and in 1977 a Master of Science degree in Education and Occupational Health and Safety. He has been certified by the National Environmental Health and Safety Training Association as a Certified Environmental Health and Safety Trainer (CET) and has maintained that certification for 15 years.

Richard has work experience in manufacturing operations, chemical operations, environmental contracting, and consulting. For the past nine years, he has held the position of Senior Consultant/Instructor with Orr Safety Corporation’s Professional Services Group and provided safety related training which included confined space and fall protection training. In addition, he has given numerous presentations on fall protection at safety conferences in Indiana and Kentucky. Territory covered: Indiana, Kentucky, Southern Ohio.
