Arranging for a Fall Protection DemonstrationThese demonstrations are intended for groups that use or will consider using equipment manufactured by Capital Safety. The presentation normally can be done in less than an hour but varies depending on the actual amount of equipment used and specific additional areas to be covered. While larger groups can be accommodated, it is most effective for groups of less than 25 people. For a demonstration in Kentucky, Indiana (all but Lake and Porter counties), Ohio (all but the 44xxx zip code), or West Virginia contact Richard Vaccaro, CET at 502-727-3600 or Richard.Vaccaro@unitedsales.com. For Western Pennsylvania, Upstate New York and Northeast Ohio contact Jason Sullivan at 216-577-8303 or Jason.Sullivan@unitedsales.com. AccommodationsThe demonstration vehicle (pictured above) is based on an extended cab pickup truck and is totally self-contained requiring only a fairly level parking spot. The area for the demonstration should be large enough for the truck and allow access to both sides, plus about ten feet behind, and room for the attendees to stand or sit behind the truck. In extreme weather it is recommended that the demonstration be done indoors. The demonstration vehicle will fit through a standard overhead door. Once inside the boom will require approximately fourteen feet of height to drop the six foot lanyard. |
